WHO WE ARE
Asian Pacific Adventures was founded in 1986 by photographer and art educator Tovya Wager. Hima Singh the president and owner, was born in Nepal and educated in India, Europe and the USA. We continue to promote global peace and understanding through travel. Travelers joining our tours benefit from Ms. Singh’s almost 30 years of global travel experience, education and training in the travel industry, wide network of overseas partners, family connections and her intimate knowledge of Asia.

Asian Pacific Adventures is known as a pioneer of cultural travel in Asia. We take our clients on eye-opening journeys to the less-trodden corners of Asia where they are among the privileged few to interact with remote tribes and participate in colorful festivals. Our clients are welcomed into private homes, attend fascinating ceremonies and gain invaluable insights into ancient, complex cultures often unknown and inaccessible to westerners. Even our classic signature tours have a unique cultural emphasis. Whether on a group departure or a customized individual tour, our clients experience Asia in a way that is both enlightening and enriching.
Passenger safety, health and comfort are our first concern. We travel responsibly and believe in cultural and environmental preservation. We also believe that smaller groups provide a better travel experience for our clients. Our small groups, sometimes limited to as few as 6 people, are designed to make the least impact.

WHAT WE DO FOR YOU
Our objective is to arrange a tour that exceeds your expectations. We start by learning what you want from your trip. Perhaps you would like to join a particular group departure or perhaps you are interested in a custom trip that accommodates your specific departure dates and interests? We use our expertise to arrange the best possible tour that gives you maximum value and enjoyment.

Upon receipt of your reservation form and deposit, we send you a complete confirmation package about your trip. This includes information on what to expect on your adventure, travelers health information from the Center for Disease Control, travel insurance options and visa applications. You also receive a suggested reading list and special reading material from our extensive library of articles and information on the specific area, people and cultures that you will visit on your tour. We want you to be well equipped and well informed!

When your trip is confirmed, your final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Approximately 3 weeks before you leave, we send you your final documents including: a confirmed itinerary, a hotel & local contact list with all the necessary addresses and phone numbers and any air tickets and hotel vouchers that are needed for your trip.

Even after you depart, we are still working for you. Our partners in Asia have been trained to go the extra mile and provide you with top-notch service. They communicate with us to let us know how your trip is going. Should any problems arise, they are there to resolve things efficiently and effectively and we are just an email or phone call away.

Upon your return, we ask for your feedback. We want to hear how your trip was. We want to learn how we can continue to improve our services. We love it when clients send us their trip photos and travel notes and allow us to use it on our website or brochure. We appreciate the great support we have received over the years and enjoy arranging the perfect trip, as much as you enjoy traveling with us!
